The Truth About Beer...

Sad fact: most beer produced in the industrialized world is not real beer. It's just colored water and alcohol that looks and tastes like beer.

The proper way to brew beer:

  • Start with just four or five ingredients (spring or well water, hops, malt barley and yeast).
  • Brew and lager for 3 to 5 weeks.

The way most breweries make beer:

  • Start with the above mentioned ingredients but maybe don't use spring water. Use tap water.
  • Add over 100 chemicals (but call your beer "natural" because it's allowed by law).
  • With the help of all those chemicals, brew and lager for 5 or 6 days.

Why not investigate your favorite beer?

Want a list of properly brewed beer?

  • Heineken (Holland)
  • Okocim (Poland)
  • Zywiec (Poland)
  • Lezajsk (Poland)
  • Warka (Poland)
  • EB (Poland)
  • All German beers (in Germany), but many alter their recipe for export
  • Most microbrewery beers
  • ...not a whole lot else
