Blog Note 63 (February 20, 2009)    by the Wine Baron

After days of packing, the oldest daughter awoke this morning knowing it was her last day in the family nest. Time to leave home and embark upon the journeys she's been dreaming about for a long time.  We drove her to Terminal 3 and she boarded an American Airlines flight to NYC, Helsinki, Tallinn. We will miss her with a deep ache in our hearts, yet we know it is time. We wish her well as she travels to Estonia, Norway, and deeper into the recesses of Europe. We may not see her for many months. We do indeed look forward to staying in touch with the marvellous technological tools at our disposal. Be safe, Young Lady, and have a great time. Aim for the best and you will hit your mark!  We will think of you often and look forward to reuniting, as Europe will be very much in our future plans too.
