Chatham Ontario, Chinese food, Zywiec Beer
I am visiting Southwestern Ontario LCBO stores today and
tomorrow. Overnight stay in Chatham at the Travelodge on
Bloomfield Road. $87 + tax. Decent room, and I do look
forward to a complimentary hot breakfast tomorrow. I
searched Restaurantica dot com for a suitable Chinese
restaurant. I read the reviews and settled on Fortune
Express on Wellington. The small little restaurant
looked clean, but I opted for takeout so I could watch
Dancing With The Stars on TV back at the Hotel. The food
is good. Here's what I posted at the site:
Review:
I had to stay overnight in Chatham. So the question, where to eat. I
checked this site for reviews and was convinced that it would be a good
place to get take out (I wanted to watch TV back at the room and eat). Restaurantica.com Review here. The Beer: Zywiec (500 ml, Poland). The logo thermometer said it was cool enough to enjoy. So I did. This is a medium-bodied brew that shows an enticing golden color, a light head, and moderate natural carbonation. Just the right amount of light hop bitterness. The beer is brewed naturally, just 4 ingredients. Long brewing/lagering times. It's real beer, not junk (like most commercial beer today). This is a fine beer. No wonder it's the most popular beer in Poland and the most popular Polish beer in Ontario.
