Day
One
Evening departure from Toronto or North
American city of your choice. Arrive next
day in Bordeaux via Air France. Rest and relaxation
in private ensuite bedroom, then tour the beautiful
and historic Chateau in the afternoon. Visit the
wine cellar and vineyards. Enjoy the pool, sauna and
tennis courts, all in a relaxed country
setting. Tasting of the celebrated wines of
Bordeaux. Dinner in the Chateau. |

Day
Two
Continental breakfast followed by a wine
course on the prestigious wines of Bordeaux
conducted by a reputed sommelier. Enjoy an aperitif
before lunching at a typical Bordeaux restaurant
famous for its regional cuisine. Visit a
famous Classified Growth Chateau in the Médoc and
taste their wines. Returning to Chateau Meyre,
take a walk in the vineyard or lounge by the pool
before dinner at the Chateau. |

Three
After a continental breakfast we will
split into groups. A reputed chef will work with you
in the kitchen preparing a French Cuisine luncheon,
while the other group will lightly toil with the
winemaker in the vineyard or wine cellar. Enjoy an
aperitif before lunch,
then sample the cuisine from the kitchen prepared by
your group members. After lunch, the kitchen group
will work in the vineyard, while the others
experience the wine cellars or vineyard. Relax
before enjoying another exquisitely prepared Chateau
dinner. |

Four
After breakfast, the groups will be reversed
with kitchen and vineyard/wine cellar
experiences. Enjoy an aperitif before tasting
a sumptuous lunch prepared by your group
members. Golf enthusiasts can hit the fairways
or you can be pampered at the spa in the afternoon.
Visit the historic city of Bordeaux and dine in
style at a restaurant in the city. |

Five
After continental breakfast, experience a
workshop with a distinguished cheese maker and
learn how to pair cheeses and wine. Later in
the day your group will be split to learn about the
wine process in the cellar, while others will learn
hands-on about the grape growing process in the
vineyard. Relax by the pool or challenge a group
member to a game of tennis before dining at the
Chateau. |

Six
After breakfast, another hands-on day in
the vineyard, wine cellar or kitchen. Sip an
aperitif,
then savour the gourmet lunch prepared by members of
your group under the guidance of our French chef.
Groups reverse in the afternoon. Following the light
toil, there is still plenty of free time before a
wonderful dinner at Chateau Meyre!

After continental breakfast, you will
continue to work in small groups in the vineyard,
cellars and kitchen. After an aperitif, enjoy
the lunch prepared by one of the groups. It's back
to the spa in the afternoon for more pampering or to
the fairways for a golf game in the Médoc wine
region. Experience another excursion to the
beautiful city of Bordeaux and dine in an exquisite
French restaurant. |

Eight
Breakfast at the Chateau, take in the food
and wine awards, then you're off to visit a
Classified Growth Chateau. Special catered lunch;
lots of free time, and dinner in the Chateau. |

Nine
After breakfast we will experience an outing
to the seaside
village of Arcachon where the world's largest sand
dunes reign. Explore the sights
& sounds of the seaport. Lunch at the Andernos seafood restaurant. Lounge
on the deck as we take a boat tour of the "bassin
arcachon" and the oyster beds. Dine at a
seaport restaurant in Arcachon.
ALTERNATE DAY: You can opt instead for a complete
day in the World Heritage Village of St. Emillion,
experiencing similar amenities and dining.
