Each of the three wineries is located
in Harrow.

Lake Erie North Shore is one of the finest wine regions in North America and an excellent vacation destination.

The region is scenic, offers rustic rural charm, and has several world-class wineries. Each winery provides a tasting room, shop and winery tours.

The three wineries we have selected produce beautiful wines. A visit to all three will take a leisurely day, for example a 10:30 AM start will bring you to a 4:30 PM finish. Drive through vineyards, lush crop areas, and lake views along the way. You go in the order we present them here: start with CREW, go to Viewpointe next, and finish with Colio.

Colchester Ridge Estate Winery (CREW)
A fine family run winery with a passion to produce truly fine wines. Winemaker Bernard Gorski and his wife, Nancy, offer a friendly greeting and fine wines to sample and purchase. A charming winery. We especially love their 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Viewpointe Estate Winery
Viewpointe is one of the prettiest and most substantial wineries in Ontario. This world-class facility is the conception and fulfilled vision of John Fancsy. The winery showcases Southwestern Ontario's fine wine and culinary diversity. There are always a wide range of events and activities.

Sample Tasting Note:
Auxerrois 2006
A sibling of chardonnay, this white wine offers very interesting alternatives in flavour. Medium gold with a spicy, grapefruit nose with a hint of creaminess. Flavours of grapefruite rind, honeycombe and a whisper of vanilla. Very easy to enjoy. Balanced. Reminds me a bit of a well-crafted Grüner Veltliner. Long finish. This is a COOL wine! Wine Baron.

Colio Wines
Colio has nearly 30 years of experience producing fine wines and is the "elder statesman" of the region. Enjoy the fruit of their labours!
